Warren Brenner, Chief Operating Officer of Ashlar Homes

Warren Brenner is the Chief Operating Officer of Ashlar Homes, where he leads the operations behind one of the Kansas City area’s trusted homebuilders. His path here was not a straight line. Warren spent most of his career in technology and customer experience, and he brings that same care for the customer to the experience of buying and building a home.

Much of that career unfolded at XumaK, a digital experience and technology consultancy, where Warren advanced from vice president of services to president over more than a decade with the company. As president, he led the company’s sales, marketing, and operations, along with its client and partner relationships, helping well-known brands create more dependable experiences for their customers. Earlier roles at Crown Partners and as a software architect at Cerner Corporation grounded him in solving complex problems on behalf of the people a business serves.

In 2024, Warren joined Ashlar Homes, first as Vice President of Finance and Customer Experience and soon after as Chief Operating Officer. The work carries a familiar thread. Whether the product is technology or a new home, his aim stays the same: remove friction, bring clarity, and help people feel confident in a big decision.

A Rockhurst University graduate based in the Kansas City area, Warren sees good operations as a form of service. When the process runs smoothly, buyers are free to focus on what matters most, picturing their life in a new home. That belief shapes the guided, transparent experience Ashlar works to provide, from the first tour through long after move-in.
